Entering a new market:
support for Dutch companies
July
2008
Dutch
investors looking for trade and investment opportunities in
Bangladesh are kindly advised to first contact the EVD (agency
for international business cooperation), local Chambers of
Commerce (KvKs), Fenedex, NCH, NEC etcetera. These organisations
(www.kvk.nl;
www.fenedex.nl;
www.handelsbevordering.nl;
www.nec.nl)
can familiarize you with doing business abroad. Moreover,
the EVD (www.evd.nl/)
can provide you with tailor-made information, personal guidance
and information on financial support to improve your companies’
prospects on the Bangladeshi market. After this preparation
phase the EVD can contact the Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka
or you can contact us directly to further assist you, e.g.
answer specific country questions, provide information on
local counterparts or introduce your company to local authorities
and companies.
